Juice World - A Personal Project Unreal 5

Hey everyone!
Over the past few months, I’ve been working on a personal project in my spare time—a stylized 3D platformer built in Unreal Engine 5, inspired by nostalgic classics like Crash Bandicoot and Spyro.

What originally started as a simple experiment to build a basic character controller quickly evolved into a small-scale “game.” While I say “game,” it’s really a single level split into three sections, but the journey was full of learning and creativity.

This project was very much a trial-and-error experience. Some props use tillable textures created in Substance Designer, while others feature handcrafted textures made in Substance Painter. I followed a straightforward prop pipeline:
Blockout → Sculpt → Retopology → Baking.

Character animations were done in Blender—they’re more like placeholders or proof of concept, since animation isn’t my strongest area, but I had a lot of fun bringing the character to life nonetheless.
